Meghan Markle’s father Thomas admits to taking cocaine whilst working in the film industry
Thomas Markle, 74, confessed to having the 'occasional sniff' of the Class A drug during the 70s and 80s
MEGHAN Markle’s dad has admitted to using cocaine in an interview with a US magazine.
Thomas Markle Sr, 74, confessed to sniffing the Class A drug during the 1970s and 1980s when he worked as a lighting director in the entertainment industry.
According to the National Enquirer, he said: “In the industry I worked in back in the ‘70s and ‘80s there cocaine around a lot. And I’m sure that I had an occasional sniff of cocaine.”
But Thomas Sr – who has not spoken to daughter Meghan since the day after the royal wedding – denied paying for sex, when confronted by the magazine.
The mag also reported that he said: “Have I ever paid for a sex worker? Uh, there was a Playboy Club in the top floor of the Philippines (but) I never paid for sex.
“I would go upstairs and enjoy myself in the Playboy Club, but not…not for sex. I didn’t get sex out of it.”

Dad-of-three Thomas, from Rosarito, Mexico, previously told The Sun how he fears he will be “locked out forever” by Meghan and the royals.
He added: “I want to say good luck and God bless to my daughter. I don’t expect to see her or hear back from her and that’s ok.”
The fall out comes after Thomas revealed that he hung up on Harry while in his hospital bed, as he recovered from heart surgery just days before the royal wedding.
