OWNERS of Benidorm's popular Tiki Beach bar say they have no idea when they'll be forced to close - as thousands of Brits fight to keep the pub open.
More than 1,300 punters have already signed an online petition to save it following a High Court decision to revoke its licence.
Loyal customers erupted in fury when the news was made public, with some claiming they would never go to Benidorm again.
It had been suggested that the closure would go ahead by the end of October.
But in a statement published today on the Save Tiki Beach Benidorm Facebook page, the owners said: "From the management and all our staff, we want to hugely thank thousands and thousands for the support received both at national and international level."
"We do not know yet the closing date! I wish we did know. Even the court has not said anything. I'm sorry to you all, we are still waiting on the courts telling us our final date.
"So it looks like Tiki Beach #Benidorm is still going to stay open a little longer. Soon as we know any more info, or if the courts do tell us something, we will let all you know."
The Supreme Court order, described as "final", was taken following a long-running dispute over the alleged "noise and disturbance".
The order to close was first given in April 2016 but the owners went to the Spanish Supreme Court to appeal, which they subsequently lost.
Locals now fear no date will be given and the police will just move in to close it.
Comments from Brits continue to pour into the Tiki Beach bar's Twitter and Facebook site.

The "Save Tiki Beach Benidorm" petition on change.org now has more than 1,300 signatures, with supporters saying: "It’s a landmark place on the sea front where you are guaranteed to have a great time" and "It’s the best place in Benidorm".
The blow may be felt particularly hard, with the number of British visitors choosing Benidorm for their holiday reportedly in "free fall" as they head to Egypt or Turkey instead.
Hoteliers in the area admitted August had been the quietest in years, and blamed it on fewer flights from Britain.
The owners of the Santa Margarita building, which the Tiki Beach bar sits below, cited the behaviour of the clients, mostly foreign tourists, as one of the main complaints.
