THE parents of a girl who died after eating a Pret A Manger sandwich have spoken of their heartache after a second allergy death was revealed.
Natasha Ednan-Laperouse was just 15-years-old when she died of an allergic reaction to sesame in the artichoke, olive and tapenade baguette in 2016.
Pret-A-Manger faced scrutiny after a coroner criticised the "inadequate" labelling on the baguette.
But it was today revealed an investigation is underway after a second customer died in December 2017 after eating a "super-veg rainbow flatbread" that was supposed to be dairy-free.
Pret said it had been mis-sold a guaranteed dairy-free yoghurt that was found to contain dairy protein.
Natasha's parents, Nadim and Tanya Ednan-Laperouse, have been campaigning for allergy awareness and a change into food labelling laws, and today revealed their heartache there had been another death linked to Pret.

"We were incredibly saddened to learn of someone else losing their life from allergens in their food," they said in a statement through lawyers Leigh Day.
"Our hearts go out to the bereaved family."
The customer collapsed and died on December 27 last year after buying the sandwich in a store in Stall Street, Bath.
Referring to the second death, Pret said in a statement that the mis-sold yoghurt "is believed to have resulted in the tragic death of a customer from an allergic reaction in December 2017.
"As soon as Pret was made aware of this incident by Bath Council, it withdrew all affected products.
"Subsequent testing by Pret and two independent authorities found that the COYO dairy-free yoghurt contained traces of dairy protein.
"Pret informed the Food Standards Agency, which led to a national product recall from all supermarkets and businesses supplied by COYO.
"Pret terminated its relationship with COYO UK and is in the process of taking legal action.
"Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of our customer in this terrible case and we will seek to assist them in any way we can."
The coroner at Natasha's inquest last week said she died of anaphylaxis after eating the Pret sandwich containing sesame, which she was allergic to.

At the inquest, the coroner questioned why a defibrillator was not used to save Natasha's life.
British Airways crew members said landing the plane "took priority" over using a defibrillator.
Natasha's father Nadim said she died because of "inadequate food labelling laws", and joined the rest of her family in calling for a change in the law to save lives.
