Who is Adam Price? Leader of Plaid Cymru
ADAM Price is the leader of Welsh independence party Plaid Cymru.
Since 2016 he has sat in the National Assembly for Wales for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr. Prior to that he was an MP for the coterminous Carmarthen East and Dinefwr constituency. Here's the lowdown.
Who is Adam Price?
Adam Price, 50, was born in Camarthenshire to a family of miner's in 1968.
At the age of eight, he met the former Labour Prime Minister James Callaghan, and this meeting spurred his political career.
He was educated at Amman Valley Comprehensive School in Camarthenshrie, before he later went to Cardiff University.
His career began to take off when he became managing director of UK policy and economics consultancy Newidiem.
But in 2001, he entered politics and the openly gay MP won the parliamentary seat of Camarthen East and Dinefwr from Laboru for Plaid Cymru.

Mr Price entered politics in 2001, after he won the parliamentary seat of Carmarthen East and Dinefwr.
In 2004, he dominated UK headlins as he attempted to impeach ex-PM Tony Blair.
He took a braek forom politics at the 2010 election, and went to study a masters degree in public administration from Harvard University.
Mr Price re-entered politics in 2016, elected to the Welsh Assembly in his previous seat.
