LAWYERS for Judge Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford have released results from a polygraph test she took last month - which she apparently passed.
Both Kavanaugh and Ford - who says the Supreme Court nominee pinned her down and tried to rip off her clothes at a high school party - are set to give evidence in the Senate today.
The lie detector test was administered by a former FBI agent on August 7 at a Hilton Hotel in Maryland, according to Ford’s lawyers, and included questions relating to the alleged assault.
"Is any part of your statement false?" read the first question, to which Ford answered "no", the reported.
"Did you make up any part of your statement?" the second said, prompting another "no".
According to her lawyers, Ford gave answers "not indicative of deception" and wound up passing the test with "unremarkable" scores.
The results have been sent to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and will likely be brought up during the Kavanaugh hearing today.
The statement with the polygraph results contained one inconsistency with the written statement she originally sent to Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein and in her interview with the Washington Post, according to the Daily Caller.
In the polygraph statement she said there were “4 boys and a couple of girls at the party.”
But in the letter to the senator she only mentioned “four others” and in the interview with the paper she only mentioned “four boys at the party.”
Ford’s polygraph came just one week after she hurled her sexual assault allegations at Kavanaugh in a letter to Feinstein.
The Supreme Court nominee allegedly pinned her down on a bed and groped her while they were both in high school. Kavanaugh has denied any wrongdoing.
Kavanaugh is Donald Trump's pick to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy following his retirement from the Supreme Court.
Democrats are fighting the move though as they believe Kavanaugh will tilt the Court - which handles landmark Constitutional cases - to the right.
Ford alleged in an interview with the Washington Post earlier this month that Mr Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and tried to undress her when they were both teenagers.
