LONDON'S Underground encourages its millions of daily riders to "mind the gap" - but sometimes the thing you really want to watch out for are the other passengers.
More than a billion people descend on the capital's Tube system every year.
And because there's just so many different people on board, some of them are not going to make the best travel companions.
From nightmarish costumes to being too drunk to sit, there's an endless list of ways in which people can ensure that they are unbearable to be around in a cramped carriage.
Of course, some people aren't even aware that they're derailing their fellow commuters' days.
But there are definitely some who just can't resist railing against regularity.
We've put together a gallery of some of the weird and wonderful people (and animals) that you do not want to end up sitting next to.
