Samantha Cameron reveals ex-PM husband David is giving advice to her designer clothing business
Samantha told a magazine that her husband 'likes very simple things' when it comes to her clothes
DAVID Cameron has become an unofficial adviser to his wife’s designer clothing business.
The ex-PM has been offering guidance to the Cefinn fashion house - when he’s not writing his autobiography.
Boss Samantha said: “He’ll definitely give me feed back. He likes very simple things, too fussy or anything asymmetric he can’t deal with all that.”
Sam Cam also described how she started working on her future by taking secret sewing lessons while she was at Number 10.
She said: “It did feel very calm, being in Downing Street, in my own little world and no one knowing what I was doing other than close friends and family.”
In an interview with Country and Town House magazine, she revealed how he’s been “brilliant” when it comes to looking after their children since leaving office.
She said: “He’s been travelling a lot but when he’s around he’s very hands on with the children and I can delegate a lot more than I could in the past.”
She also said that she isn’t looking beyond the Brexit date next March when it comes to her business.
She said: “It would be great to have the business in a place of sure footing with a healthy customer base. But I try not to think too much beyond six months.
“Otherwise you can wish your life away. And I think I operate quite well in the present.”
Cameron left office in July 2016 following the EU referendum.
His memoirs are likely to be released next year.
