A DECONTAMINATION specialist takes an item from the home of Sergei Skripal yesterday, six months after he and daughter Yulia were poisoned by Novichok.

Cleaning at the property in Salisbury has only begun now as it is no longer under investigation.

But the process could last for months.

One “thrilled” neighbour said: “Hopefully we can get back to normal soon.”

A military team was seen putting the removed items into a special isolation unit.
