Man comes forward claiming to be baby kidnapped from cot 32 YEARS AGO as family anxiously await DNA result

A MAN has come forward claiming he is the seven-month-old baby who was snatched from his cot 32 years ago.
Relatives of Christopher Abeyta, who was kidnapped from his Colorado Springs home, are hopeful he is the missing boy because he has photos of himself as a toddler which show a striking resemblance.
Investigators have already put out various impressions of what he might look like now.
But the man has provided photographs charting his childhood to adulthood which have yet to be made public.
And more crucially he has given a sample of his DNA which the family hope will provide some answers.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation says it could take “some time” for the test results to come back.
Cold case Commander Jeff Jensen said: “Unfortunately at this time it does not appear this will be credible information, however, we are working to confirm.”
The Abeyta family’s agonising ordeal began on July 15, 1986, after they had been out for a late meal.
Christopher had just gone to sleep throughout the night, so it was not until 6am they realised he was not in his crib.
