A SCHOOLBOY had to be tested for HIV after sleeping with a prostitute on a school trip abroad, we can reveal.
The boy, who goes to a private school in , sneaked the sex worker back to his accommodation during a class holiday.
The teenager then confided in a teacher after the prostitute told him she was HIV-positive.
Sources say a number of pupils were out enjoying free time and began drinking one evening on the trip.
They were approached by a man on the street who convinced them to pay for the sexual services of women.
The boys brought a number of girls back to where they were staying with fellow pupils and teachers.
Other students were kept in the dark about what was happening and everyone was just hoping his results come back clear

A source said: “The guys involved are young lads who just didn’t know any better.
“It’s believed only one of the lads found out he was at risk of infection and had to be tested once he’d returned home to Ireland.
“His fellow students are deeply upset by the whole thing.
“The general consensus is this whole thing should never have been allowed to happen on a supervised trip.
“Other students were kept in the dark about what was happening and everyone was just hoping his results come back clear.”

A spokeswoman for the school told the Irish Sun: “I can confirm that no teacher has been dismissed and no student has been expelled.
“The board does not comment on individual cases involving a disciplinary sanction of children.
“In some instances a matter may be referred to the board, which considers all aspects of the incident and the children involved and decides on the appropriate course of action.”
