THE Turkish surgeon who carried out a fatal op to boost the size of a Brit mum’s bottom told other patients he always made them as big as he could.
Tragic Leah Cambridge died on the operating table after suffering three heart attacks when a Brazilian butt-lift procedure went wrong.
Dr Ali Uckan, of the Elite Aftercare clinic in Ismir, Turkey, was caught on camera by a documentary team as he was asked by another patient to make her bottom as big as possible.
He replied: “That’s what I do every time.”
He admitted operating on 29- year-old Leah — a mum of three from Leeds — and said he had warned her of the risks.
Dr Uckan said: “It is a scientific fact that undesirable and unpredictable risks are always present in this kind of surgery.”
Leah's tragic end
TRAGIC Leah Cambridge died after suffering three heart attacks during her Brazilian butt-lift op in Turkey.
The 29-year-old had booked the £5,000 cosmetic procedure because she felt self-conscious about her “mum tum” after giving birth to her three children.
Fiancé Scott Franks, 31, had reassured her she was beautiful — but she went ahead anyway.
The operation, which sees fat extracted from the waist and injected into the buttocks, is popular among women seeking the benefits of a flatter stomach and more pert behind.
But complications set in shortly after surgery began at the Elite Aftercare clinic in Ismir — which claims to have carried out cosmetic ops on celebs including Towie’s Amber Dowding and Lauren Goodger.
Leah fell ill after fat entered her blood stream and her oxygen levels dropped. Doctors stabilised her, but her condition deteriorated again and she died following the heart attacks.
Scaffolding boss Scott, of Leeds, said: “Leah was under anaesthetic and complications happened due to fat getting deposited in her blood stream and her oxygen levels fell.
“She was brought back to stable but had three heart attacks and there was nothing they could do.”
He added: “Leah was paranoid that she had excess weight round her stomach from having kids. I told her she was beautiful as she was, but she wanted it for her own confidence.”
Leah jetted to Turkey on Sunday but when she didn’t answer her phone on Monday Scott grew worried. He then got a phone call to say she had died on the operating table.
Scott, who then flew to Turkey with Leah’s parents, admitted yesterday he had not yet broken the news to his youngest sons, aged two and four.

The dad, whose eldest son is 12, added: “I can’t imagine being in the house without Leah. I wish we could turn back time.”
Brazilian butt lifts were made famous by American reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
Last night Elite Aftercare insisted in a statement it is “responsibly run”. It added: “As such, it takes its responsibilities extremely seriously.”
