Moment OJ Simpson HIGH FIVES Sacha Baron Cohen as comedian tries to get to him to admit he murdered Nicole and Ronald Goldman
THE finale of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Who is America? sees the comedian trying to get OJ Simpson to confess to the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
The 46-year-old British comedian took on the disguise of an Italian photographer Gio Monaldo in a bid to confront the former American footballer, now 71, over the killings in 1994.

Cohen’s US series on Showtime has been controversial and Sunday’s episode was no exception as he chatted to Simpson in a Las Vegas hotel room in a bid to get him to confess to the murders.
Simpson was not aware he was being filmed, according to Deadline, and Cohen’s character claims a fake Sheikh Mansour, is ready to offer a seven-figure sum, for a confession to the crimes Simpson was cleared of in 1995.
The website also reported one of Simpson’s lawyers accepted money to arrange a chat between the two.
It is also claimed Cohen worked with an FBI interrogator to hone is skills in drawing out a confession.

In the programme, Cohen uses an actress to play the part of his girlfriend, Christina, to help him poke fun at the former star.
When she claims not to know who Simpson is, he makes a stabbing gesture to the neck as a way of realising who he is.
At one point Cohen’s character says: “She’s gorgeous, but sometimes I want to kill her, you know,” to which Simpson just laughs and tells him to “stop”.
In another segment, Cohen states: “What I hate about the press is you make a tiny little slip, and that’s all they remember you for.

“You’re not the OJ the touchdown. You’re not the OJ the movie star. You kill two silly people and suddenly, you’re OJ the murderer.”
As Cohen presses Simpson to comment he presents Simpson as being the killer as a matter of fact which gets the response: “Well, first of all, she wasn’t my wife. We had been divorced. And second of all, I didn’t do it. Hey, I didn’t get away with nothing.”
Although Simpson was acquitted of the double murder he was found liable for their deaths in a civil trial in 1997 which ordered him to pay the families of the victims $33.5million (£26.1m) – a sum they say they never received.
Simpson though was found guilty in October 2008 of being involved in an armed robbery of a sports memorabilia dealer in a Las Vegas hotel room and is currently on parole until September 2022.

The seven-part series has made the headlines over its run which has included interviewing US politician Roy Moore where Cohen’s character claimed he could tell if a person was a sex offender using a “wand”.
In another episode he tricks politicians to back support for his his fictional "Kinderguardians" scheme, which would arm toddlers with guns.
The episode includes a fake video featuring children's songs and "gunimals", weapons decorated with soft toys which would help kids confront school shooters.
