THE owner of a scrapyard took to Facebook to pen a heartfelt message to the arsonists that burned down his business - killing his beloved pet pooch at the same time.
The businessman and dog lover of Sutton Car Spares in St Helens, Merseyside, took to the social media site to vent their anger and horror at what happened to his beloved dog Scooby when thugs set fire to his business.
During the blaze he said his other dog, Zulu, had tried to “get back into the fire” as he knew Scooby was still inside unable to get out.
The message, posted two days ago, said: “I'm not bothered about you burning down our yard, I'm not bothered about us losing a enormous amount of money, that's all trivia. IM NOT ASSED s**t happens it can be replaced.
“But what has bothered me is that you've burnt Scooby alive and killed him, we took him in good hands a few days before. You rats.
“I was suspicious why our other brown dog Zulu was so determined to get back into the fire , any of the emergency services on site can confirm this.
The owner of Sutton Car Spares took to Facebook to air his anger and frustrations“I suspect you done it on purpose as he prevented you absolute bunch of s**t houses from stealing parts.
“The top ranking fire detective for the north west has been out and stated to us, this WAS a deliberate fire what was set on purpose, the police potentially have evidence, it is being treated as ARSON by CID, we have had CSI on the yard for the majority of the day.
“This is about more than just money to us due to the dogs.
“Any info let us know.”
