Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romantic honeymoon location was so secret that only ‘Prince William and the Queen knew it’

PRINCE Harry and Meghan’s honeymoon location is one of the most tightly guarded secrets in recent royal history - with only William and the Queen knowing where they went.
A close royal source has revealed that even the most senior Kensington Palace staff were not told where the lovebirds went after the tied the knot in May.
Rumours about where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex jetted off to flooded the internet and included plush locations in Canada, Africa and Ireland - but none are thought to be right.
The source said: "No one knows where they went, only his brother and the Queen were told at first and a few immediate family members know now.
"The most senior members of the royal household staff still have no idea where they went. They were completely frozen out of all plans and preparations.
"It was very important that the newlyweds had a private honeymoon where they could be alone together out of the public eye.
"Royal protection officers were involved, but only a handful of the most trusted and those who have been by Harry's side for years. The whole operation was watertight.
"After the honeymoon went smoothly and Harry and Meghan weren't spotted it was thought that the secret might be let out, at least to the inner circle of staff. That hasn't been the case.
"It is has been one of the most tightly guarded secrets in the Palace for years and is mainly due to the fact that news of them dating was leaked." The news comes as Meghan, 37, is said to be preparing for a private trip to her hometown LA - but has no plans to see her dad Thomas Markle, who lives just 150-miles away.
Markle, 74, has given a string of interviews criticising the royal family in recent months and says he has been "frozen out" by the family and likened them to Scientologists.

The former Hollywood lighting director, who now lives in Rosarito, in Mexico, is not thought to be part of any of Meghan's plans on her visit across the Atlantic.
Kensington Palace have remained tight-lipped about comments made by Markle, however, a royal source told The Sunday Times: "I suspect the Queen will be rolling her eyes and thinking:
tricky, what is going to become of all this."
Prince Philip, 97, has joined the Queen at Balmoral after his hip replacement and rumours that he had died going viral on social media sites last month.
