Meghan Markle ‘to visit her mum in America — but has NO plans to see her dad Thomas who lives just 150 miles away’
THE Duchess of Sussex is to visit her mum in America on a solo trip abroad, according to reports.
Meghan, 37, is thought to be preparing for a private visit to LA — but has no plans to see her dad Thomas Markle, who lives just 150 miles away.
Instead, she will see mum Doria Ragland, who was the only member of her family to attend her wedding to Prince Harry this year.
Thomas, 74, has given a string of interviews criticising the royals in recent months and says he has been “frozen out” by the family.
He has tried to encourage Meghan and Harry, 33, to contact him — after three months of silence.
They have not spoken since the day after the couple’s wedding in May.
The former Hollywood lighting director, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, is not thought to be part of Meghan’s plans on her visit to her home town.
Thomas, who also has children Samantha, 53, and Tom Jnr, 51, has dismissed reports he was hoping for money from his kids.
