Man charged with ‘attempted abduction’ of young Glasgow woman who was ‘terrorised and threatened sexually’

A MAN has been charged with the alleged abduction of a young woman in Glasgow on Tuesday evening.

A 21-year-old woman was walking towards St.George's Road from Charing Cross at 5.30pm when she was allegedly terrorised and given sexual threats.

A 30-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
