TWO children were among ten people injured after a gunman opened fire at a Caribbean festival in Manchester today.

What happened at the Manchester carnival?
A number of people were in the area following the Caribbean Carnival, which had finished some hours before the shootings in the early hours of Sunday, August 12, 2018.
Horrified neighbours said the gunman suddenly brandished a weapon and opened fire on crowds of partying revellers.
Terrified partygoers ran for their lives as bullets were fired in the packed street.
One local said the gunman was "showing off" in front of his pals and the shots were aimed below knee height.
Armed police raced to the scene in Claremont Road at 2.30am.
Dramatic footage shows police officers helping one of the victims into an ambulance as a panicked witness shouted: "Can you hear me. "

How many people were injured?
Two children were among nine people rushed to hospital with "minor to major" injuries.
A tenth victim - a man - remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Nine people went to hospital, including two children, with pellet-type wounds that are not believed to be serious.
"A tenth person – a man – remains in a stable but serious condition in hospital with injuries to his legs."

Have there been any arrests?
As yet no arrests have been reported.
Detective Superintendent Debbie Dooley said: "Officers are trying to establish exactly where this incident took place and who is responsible for such a dangerous attack."
