Trolls have targeted the 18-year-old victim who was punched twice by thug Liam Holmes
AN 18-YEAR-OLD girl has been left devastated after being targeted by vile online trolls who PRAISED the cowardly thug who attacked her.
Shocking footage showed Liam Holmes, 20, punch the teenager twice in the jaw outside an Essex nightclub after she tried to stop him insulting a group of pals.
The video showed the teenager, who The Sun have decided not to name, laid out on the floor after the beating.
But twisted trolls have turned on the teenager, claiming the incident outside Faces nightclub in Gants Hill was her fault.
One wrote: “I thought we were all supposed to be gender neutral these days? So what's the problem? “Redefinition of biological facts only seems to apply when it suits.”
Another wrote: “Equal rights deserve equal lefts too. Nice punch homie.”
Another posted online: “Did anyone ever think, she may have deserved it? She selectively forgot she was gobbing off and in his face! She had a lesson in True Equality.”
Another commentator wrote: “All as bad as each other, council scum.”

Holmes was yesterday marched in to a police station by his mum Cathy after she saw mobile phone footage of the attack on social media.
It showed Holmes laying into the 18-year-old girl who confronted him when he and a friend verbally abused a group of girls.
He punches her twice in the jaw — sending her crashing to the ground with the second blow as another clubber yells: “Oh my God!”
She was out cold for five minutes as she lay covered in blood.
The 18-year-old victim told the Sun last night: “This guy was going round calling the women outside the club ‘fat c***s.’
“Him and another guy were backing a group of girls into a corner, saying they were going to hit them.
“I told him he was in the wrong and he needed to walk away and be a gentleman and he lashed out.
“I was knocked out for five minutes. All I remember is being on the floor with blood everywhere.
“I was given a head scan in hospital. I suffered cuts inside my mouth and have bruises.”
Holmes lives with ex-flower seller Cathy and his grandmother in East London. He is Cathy’s carer after she had a brain haemorrhage.
One close relative said: “He was at the club with a group celebrating a birthday.
“His mum was told about the video and she wasn’t happy.
“His family think he’s a decent lad. He’s never had a girlfriend.”
Police said: “A 20-year-old man has been interviewed under caution in connection with an alleged assault.
"He was subsequently released under investigation.”

A Faces spokeswoman said: “We are deeply saddened and shocked by the incident that occurred on Saturday night.
“We don’t tolerate any violence in or outside Faces nightclub.
“We have been working with the police in identifying the attacker via CCTV.
“The incident happened when the club was closed and all security had gone home. We send our well wishes to the victim and the family.”
