First picture of Irish goalkeeper, 18, hospitalised with ‘serious injuries’ after second-storey balcony fall in Majorca
The teenager is said to be in a 'serious condition' in hospital after falling off the second floor balcony of holiday apartments while on holiday with his pals
THIS is the first photograph of a Northern Irish teenager who was left seriously injured after plunging from the second-floor balcony of holiday apartments.
Padraig Morgan, from West Belfast, fell from the Hotel Apartments Deya in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, at about 5.30am yesterday morning.
An official at the Son Espases hospital in Palma said the youngster was in a serious condition in intensive care.
It is understand he suffered hip and spine injuries.
Padraig is passionate football player and a goalie for St James’ Swifts FC.
A statement from the club said: "All at St James Swifts would like to wish our Player Padraig Morgan a speedy recovery as he had an accident on holiday and is now in hospital.
"We are all behind you if anything is needed."
Three Brits have been killed in plunges at the same apartment block on the holiday island this year.

Earlier this year a 14-year-old Irish boy died after he slipped from his mum's grasp and plunged 20ft from a hotel balcony in Majorca.
This week, another holidaymaker was filmed plunging from an apartment balcony into a swimming pool in a so-called "balconing" stunt.
The latest incident happened 48 hours after a three-day party ended with a group of 11 Irish holidaymakers aged 17 to 19, who were staying at the same apartments, needing medical attention.
An ambulance responded to an emergency call on Sunday morning after three tourists fell ill.
A doctor on board the ambulance is said to have confirmed they had binged on drugs and treated them at the scene without requesting a hospital transfer.
Six Irish holidaymakers partying in the same apartment were reportedly taken to hospital later the same day after a second call-out.
They are said to have confessed to consuming ecstasy and going without sleep for two days during a marathon party.

All six are understood to have been given the all-clear after treatment for tachycardia, fever and anxiety linked to their drugs consumption and lack of sleep.
Another five who were part of the same group are believed to have been treated at the scene.
It is not clear whether the three people seen in the morning were among the 11 assisted later the same day.
The holiday apartment manager said all were now back at the tourist complex and the incident had been more a scare involving frightened youngsters than a genuine medical emergency.
