The PM's husband is in charge of hosting Melania Trump during the President's trip to Britain
THERESA May's husband Philip has bought a new suit to try and impress Melania Trump, the PM has revealed.
Mr May will be the First Lady's official host when she visits Britain this week with her husband.
That means that while the Prime Minister holds talks with Donald Trump, Philip May will have to look after the President's wife.
The 60-year-old banker and 48-year-old model have never met before.
Mr May - who usually keeps a low profile - has acquired a new outfit for the occasion.
The PM : "He’s looking forward to meeting Melania.
"They were both at the G20 but because of timetables and so forth he wasn’t able to meet her there.
"He has been out and bought a new suit."
