THERESA May is rolling out the red carpet for Donald Trump's visit and one of his stops has been at the lavish Winfield House.
Here, we look at where the 12-acre plot is and what else the president will be doing during his trip...
The President and his wife spent Thursday night at the US Ambassador's London residence Winfield House, in Regent's Park.
The 1930s mansion is set within a large garden, second only to Buckingham Palace in the capital, with tight security to keep any protesters at bay.
It is possible that the President may be able to hear noise from the protests on the streets outside.
He may also make out the call to prayer from the Central Mosque next door and the growls of lions and tigers at nearby London Zoo.
Mr Trump's visit has seen him criticise Theresa May's Brexit strategy in a world exclusive interview with The Sun.
His comments throw further doubts over the PM's plans for US-UK trade deal.
Winfield House, commissioned by American heiress Barbara Hutton in 1936, has been the official residence of the United States Ambassador since 1955.
The Grade II listed building has been described as a "a Neo-Georgian townhouse containing numerous features of note".
During World War II, it was used by the Royal Air Force as an officer's club and visited by film actor Cary Grant, who was married to Hutton at the time, during the same conflict.
After the war, Hutton sold the house to the American government for $1.
Trump was treated to a lavish dinner and concert at Winston Churchill’s birthplace of Blenheim Palace.
He and First Lady Melania, who arrived on Air Force One on July 12, will largely be kept away from protests in London.
After spending the night in Winfield House, the President will visit Sandhurst military academy with Mrs May on Friday.
The pair will then move onto Chequers for a working lunch and crunch talks on a range of international issues – followed by a press conference.
Mr Trump will rejoin Melania and head to Windsor Castle for a meeting with the Queen before heading to Scotland - where "he will spend the weekend".
Mrs May will not travel north of the border, but Downing Street insisted the President will still be a guest of the UK government during his entire trip.
Challenged whether there was an ‘avoid London’ strategy, the PM’s deputy spokeswoman insisted No.10 frequently made use of Chequers for "important bilaterial discussions".
A lot of anger has surrounded Trump's visit and around 50,000 protesters are expected to descend on the capital on Friday.
The "Stop Trump" will see them make their way through the city before a large rally takes place in Trafalgar Square.
Organisers described the protest as part of a "carnival of resistance" taking place across the UK in response to the trip.
Donald Trump will largely be kept outside London, avoiding protesters who are expected to gather in the capital.
It seems unlikely that the President will come close enough to Westminster to see a "Trump baby" blimp which protesters plan to fly over the Houses of Parliament.
A Downing Street spokeswoman said: "As with any protest, we are a free and open democracy and we believe in the right to peaceful protest."
