Model Chloe Ayling could be a witness at ‘kidnapper’s’ trial after ‘anomalies’ in evidence
MODEL Chloe Ayling may have to give evidence at the trial of her alleged kidnapper.
Suspect Michal Herba, 37, was yesterday extradited to Italy.
His lawyer George Hepburne Scott said: “Our Italian team will be fighting vigorously to get Chloe in the witness box to confront her with the many anomalies that have arisen since she first gave evidence.
“For example the fact she was Facebook friends with and exchanged messages with my client’s brother two years before the incident.”
He added: “We do not think he will receive a fair trial unless Chloe returns to be asked questions about this and other matters.”
Earlier this month Herba’s brother Lukasz, 30, was jailed for 16 years and nine months by an Italian court for his part in the kidnap of mum of one Chloe, 21.
