The result was not known last night but his victims’ relatives are furious he is being treated.

Neil Jackson, 60, whose mum Emily was his second victim in 1976, said: “How much taxpayers’ money will they waste on him?

"He doesn’t deserve a penny.

"He’s evil.”

Peter Sutcliffe, The Yorkshire Ripper talks about Tracey Browne attack in audio obtained by The Sun

Diabetic Sutcliffe, serving life for 13 murders at Frankland Jail, Co. Durham, lost the sight in his left eye after an attack by a fellow lag in 1997.

He was blinded by an injection to slow the deterioration of the right.

The Prison Service declined to comment.
