A GRIEVING wife has posted a heartbreaking Facebook message telling how her son and husband went out on their motorbikes "and only my son came home".
Biker Andrew Pearce, 37, died when his black Suzuki was in a horror smash with a car in Moray, Scotland on Tuesday.
Now Andrew’s wife Jackie has taken to social media following the tragic news.
She shared a post from Police Scotland and described how she had lost her "soul mate".
And she pleaded with others to be careful on the roads when riding motorbikes.
Jackie said online: “At 5ish my son and husband went out on their motorbikes.
“Only my son came home.
“For that I am extremely grateful.
“But I lost my soul mate.
“PLEASE be bike aware.”
Jackie was flooded with messages of support from friends and loved ones.
And they all paid their own tribute to Andrew.
One said: “Thinking of you all sending love and prayers. Can’t believe this.”
Another posted: “This is so unbelievably sad.”

Authorities are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Stuart Lawrence from the North East Divisional Road Policing Unit said: “I can confirm that a 37-year-old male has died as a result of the two-vehicle collision.
"My thoughts are with his family and friends at this tragic time.
“We are keen to trace any drivers who may have been travelling on the road around the time and seen either vehicle prior to the collision.”
