Family of battered England fan Andrew Bache sent death threats by supporters of Russian thugs who attacked him
The 'vile' messages were sent by Moscow-based supporters of two men held over the attack
DEATH threats have been sent to the family of an England fan left fighting for his life by Russian football thugs.
The messages targeted relatives of Andrew Bache, who was battered by a mob during the Euro 2016 championships in Marseilles.
They came from Moscow-based supporters of two men arrested over the attack.
One warning sent via Facebook messenger says: “How are you? Alive? My fellow countryman sits in prison because of you. Maybe you can help with your testimony?”
A source said: “The messages are pretty vile. They talk about the attack and how they want the family to drop the case against the two arrested Russians.
“They are threatening and really abusive, they warn of violence.”
Portsmouth fan Andrew, then 51, suffered severe brain and lung injuries as well as several broken bones when he was beaten with an iron bar in the attack in Marseilles. He spent months in hospital but has been left paralysed.
