A witness wrote on Twitter: "I walked by and the path leading to the hill from the park is cordoned off. A scooter and bike lay by."

It comes after London was last night gripped by violence, with a shooting and stabbing just 20 minutes apart.

Witnesses heard a volley of at least 17 shots as a man was gunned down in Brent, with the 24-year-old left fighting for his life.

Another 23-year-old man was also stabbed in the chest in Deptford.

Police also launched a murder investigation after a woman was found fatally stabbed at a Brent home in the early hours of the morning.

A 43-year-old man is being quizzed by cops.
