THE wedding reception for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was a lavish affair, featuring Elton John performing a few numbers and an impressive fireworks display later in the day.

What did Meghan Markle say?
The new Duchess of Sussex is said to have thanked the Royal Family in her groundbreaking speech.
She is reported to have declared she had found her Prince as the former actress broke with tradition and gave a speech on her wedding day.
Prince Harry's stunning bride also paid tribute to her new father-in-law Prince Charles after he stepped in at the last-minute to walk her down the aisle.
The Sun on Sunday exclusively revealed how Meghan had left guests in tears as she read a poem about her deep love for her new husband.
In her address she is said to have expressed how "blessed" she was to have met Prince Harry and that it had beeb "love at first sight".
Meghan only had one family member present - her mum Doria Ragland - when she married Prince Harry on May 19.
And she was walked down the aisle by Prince Charles after her own dad Thomas Markle Sr dropped out due to health issues.
What did Prince Harry say?
It was, apparently, an emotional “off-the-cuff” speech and drew a rapturous reception when he referred to Meghan as his wife for the first time.
According to the Sunday Times, he also left guests in tears when he said Meghan had “navigated everything with such grace”, adding: “We make such a great team.”
A guest at the wedding told the Mail on Sunday: "Charles spoke about feeding Harry a bottle and changing his nappy, and then said look how well he turned out.
"That's about as embarrassing as it got."
Harry, 33, is also believed to have jokingly promised that the American guests wouldn’t steal any swords from the castle.
Suhani Jalota, the founder of the India-based Myna Mahila charity, said: “He was talking about his wife. Everybody was clapping because it was the first time he was using that term for Meghan so it was really nice.”
What did best man Prince William say?
The second in line to the throne is said to have acted as compere and introduced both his father, Prince Charles, and his brother.
Those that heard the speech are remaining very tight-lipped although by all accounts Prince William’s speech was “naughty”.

The bride and groom danced the night away with Harry's favourite house tracks while guests tucked into "dirty burgers" and candyfloss.

Food was washed down with a cocktail featuring ginger and rum named When Harry Met Meghan in an apparent nod to Harry's red hair at the bash at Frogmore House hosted by Prince Charles.
James Corden also played a surprise role as compere at the evening reception in a £300,000 glass marquee in the grounds of Windsor Castle as a firework display rounded off the night.
It followed a more formal reception hosted by the Queen at lunchtime in St George's Hall where the speeches were made as Elton John serenaded the newlyweds.
