Three-year-old clung for survival after stepping through MISSING toilet floor on moving train
Jay Lloyd had his foot on the wheel of the moving train and only saved himself by grasping pipes around him
A MOTHER has told of her horror as her three-year-old son stepped through a missing toilet floor on a moving train.
Anna Patch, 45, saw little Jay Lloyd clinging to pipes to stop himself falling to his death.
She grabbed her son as his foot brushed against one of the train wheels.
Anna said: “If he had not held on for the two seconds it took me to heave him up, I just don’t know. It makes you feel completely sick.”
The incident happened on the South Devon Railway Trust heritage line.
Jay went into a toilet where a rotten floor had been removed for repairs.
