A THIEF has been branded blooming cheeky after brazenly stealing a trolley load of plants from a supermarket.
The yob, wearing a green puffer jacket with his hood up, nicked the entire display from Home Bargains in Burnley, Lancs.
Cops posted a snap of him pulling the trolley stacked with planters, hanging baskets and flowers along a street in a bid to identify him.
The post sparked dozens of funny comments on Facebook.
Matt Kayley said: "He's called Bill, possibly Ben."
Lisa Higson said: "Oh my 'bleeding heart' I hope he wore his 'marigolds' to do the crime.
I hope his mother 'Iris' hits him where it hurts with her 'foxglove.'”
