How do you get the Infinity Gauntlet?
Fortnite 4.1 added a new mode called ‘Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup’.
Players can search for and try to collect the Infinity Gauntlet which contains all six Infinity Stones, and once you have these you turn into Thanos and get given a boost of power.
Early in the match, a meteor will land in the storm safe zone - the infinity gauntlet is there.
Any player who uses the gauntlet will become Thanos himself.
When Thanos is defeated he drops the Infinity Gauntlet which leaves it free to be taken - if it lies dormant for too long another meteor will spawn instead.

What abilities does Thanos have in the Fortnite mode?
Thanos is a powerful, hard-hitting character who can easily take down your structures. Although he is powerful, he is not invincible - take note that his health cannot recover (although his shields can).
- Ability 1 — A mighty punch that knocks enemies back and destroys structures.
- Ability 2 — Thanos flies towards the ground, hitting an area for knockback and damage.
- Ability 3 — Harness the energy of the Power stone to fire a blast that deals damage over time.
- Ability 4 — A super-jump that can vault Thanos over all but the largest obstructions.
- Thanos has both shields and health. When he eliminates another player, his shields regenerate. His health never regenerates.
- Thanos doesn’t take fall damage.
- Thanos does not build, use weapons or things like launch pads. He has no need for such petty human devices.
What is Fortnite x Avengers?
According to Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the pair are big fans of the game, and they would often play rounds of Fortnite while editing the film.

“It was really important that whatever we did, it had to be super authentic to both Fortnite and the Avengers: Infinity War, and something that fans of both would be excited about.”
