The Queen takes chopper to visit her great grandson Prince Louis for first time

THE Queen arrives by helicopter to see new great-grandson Prince Louis for the first time today.

The monarch, 92, flew in her personal helicopter to visit Wills and Kate’s third child.

Prince Louis, Wills and Kate’s third child, was born last Monday and his birth was also formally registered today.

Her Maj has been staying at Windsor Castle so had not had an opportunity to visit the young prince before.

But yesterday the Queen got a chopper from her Sandringham home in Norfolk to Kensington Palace, in central London, while Charles drove.

Charles had come under some criticism for not visiting his new grandson earlier, when granny Carole Middleton had visited the same night.

They both stayed for around an hour and a half.
