HOSPITAL chiefs ordered Prince Louis' birth certificate to be typed up after the registrar who hand-wrote George's was sent death threats over her messy writing.
Alison Cathcart had her writing compared to a cats after becoming "flustered" as she scrawled out George's certificate with William sat next to her.
The newest member of the royal family was born just over a week ago and fans were kept on tenterhooks before William and Kate announced his name on Friday.
Another milestone was passed this morning when the Duke Of Cambridge sat down at Kensington Palace and signed the certificate registering Prince Louis' birth, which was witnessed by Westminster City Council registrar Patricia Gordon.
The document gives the full name of the latest royal family member as His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge, lists the date and place of his birth and gives the family address as Kensington Palace.
It also gives the full name of Louis' mum and dad and under "occupation" they are listed as prince and princess of the United Kingdom.
The Duke, who is taking a period off following the birth of his son, simply signs the document William.
Ms Gordon said: "It has been a great honour to register, and formally welcome the latest addition to the royal family, Prince Louis Arthur Charles.
"This follows a long history of Westminster City Council registering royal births, including Prince Louis' siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte."
William and Kate's third child weighed 8lb 7oz when he was born at the private maternity unit of St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, in central London on April 23 at 11.01am.
It comes as Louis’ sister Princess Charlotte is set to celebrate her third birthday tomorrow.
The royal youngster turns three just nine days after the arrival of her baby brother.
Confident Charlotte delighted royal fans by waving and leading her father the Duke of Cambridge up the steps of the Lindo Wing when she was taken to meet her new sibling for the first time last week.
The princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, is now the Cambridges' middle child.
The past year saw another big change for Charlotte when she started nursery school.
