MURDER cops are quizzing a son suspected of killing his mum at their £750,000 house.
Fiona Fisher, 51, was found dead at the five-bed property in Crowborough, East Sussex, on Friday night.
Police were called to the converted chapel for a welfare check before making the grim discovery.
A 22-year-old man, Ms Fisher’s son, opened the door to officers and was arrested over the killing.
Her devastated family described the shop worker as “irreplaceable” in a tear-jerking tribute last night.
They said: “Fiona will be sadly missed by her daughter Megan, her mother Dorothy and stepfather Les, as well as her father.
“There are no words to explain the love those around her felt for her, she is irreplaceable.
“At this time we would please hope that everyone could respect our privacy and allow her friends and family to grieve.”
Ms Fisher’s social media account says she worked as an assistant manager for high-end health and beauty company L’Occitane in Tunbridge Wells.
She is also listed as a director at a flat management company.
Forensic teams were seen combing her murder scene for clues last night.
A tent covered the entrance to the grand house in Lordswell Lane – plotted along a remote single track where she lived with her son for 17 years.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to her death.
Anyone with information that may assist officers is asked to send details or phone 101, quoting Operation Stonegate.
