Fox spotted carrying HUMAN HAND as grisly trail of body parts discovered in murder probe for missing gran Julie Reilly
Julie Reilly, 47, was reported missing in February after missing several hospital appointments
A FOX was spotted carrying a human hand on a street where a "gnawed" human hip joint was also discovered in a garden.
The gruesome trail of body parts were made during a murder investigation for missing gran Julie Reilly.
A human thigh is also believed to have been found by stunned residents close to a torso in the same area of Glasgow.
Julie, 47, was reported missing two months ago.
Doctors raised the alarm after the brain injury patient missed appoints.
But the search took a shocking twist after body parts were found in two gardens.
A pensioner said she discovered a human hip joint in her garden on Friday.
She said: "I was told that part of a leg had been found.
“I decided to have a look around and found a bone in my own garden which looked like a hip joint — it was a human bone.
“There were teeth marks on it as if the foxes had been chewing it.”
The woman’s daughter added: “I went and picked it up.
“There wasn’t any flesh or anything on it but I knew it was a human bone right away — but you don’t want to think it’s part of someone’s body."
