'FREELOADING PARASITE'

Royal baby joy breaks out across Britain but Kate Middleton and Prince William can’t escape Twitter trolls branding new boy a ‘parasite’

The vile tweet read: "another royal parasite. Rejoice peasants."

Other tweets compared the tot to a lizard, with one user blasting: "another lizard hatched in the royal family."

A third posted a picture of Micheal Jackson dangling his son Blanket from a hotel balcony and added: "first new pictures of the royal baby released as a nurse shows off the new prince to wellwishers."

Earlier today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge beamed with joy as they introduced their baby boy to the country and the world.

Another said the baby looked like a blobfish, while someone else said "another baby that will sponge off the British public".

William and Kate left St Mary's Hospital with their new arrival after posing for pictures on the steps of the Lindo Wing.

After briefly stepping back inside to fetch a carrier for their adorable tot, Wills and Kate reappeared to a waiting royal car.

He joked: "We are very happy, very delighted — thrice the worry now! We didn't keep you waiting too long this time."

Asked about the potential name of their son, Wills replied: "You will find out sooner or later." Bookies have made Albert, Arthur, Jack and Fred the favoured names.

The tot was born at 11:01am this morning and weighed in at a healthy 8lbs, 7oz at 11:01am this morning.
