Couple pose on Lindo Wing steps with newborn baby after being mobbed by photographers as Kate Middleton goes into labour
AN UNSUSPECTING couple found themselves face to face with the world's media earlier today - after leaving the Lindo Wing with their newborn baby.
The proud parents were confronted by a wall of photographers and TV crews assembled outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London after The Duchess of Cambridge, who has given birth to a 8lb 7oz baby boy, arrived there earlier.

They posed happily for snaps with their new arrival safely stowed in a car seat by their feet.
It gave the waiting media chance to practise their shots after Kate was admitted in the early hours of the morning.
She gave birth to her third child at 11:01 am.
It is understood that William may bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte to see their new brother later this afternoon.

The Royal family are said to be delighted with the news, with the Queen informed of the fifth-in-line to the throne's arrival earlier today.
In a statement, Kensington Palace said: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
"The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.

"The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
They added: "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news."
The Queen today celebrated the birth of her latest great-grandchild with a horse back ride at Windsor Castle.
It's the first time in history that a boy will not precede his older sister in the line of succession, with Princess Charlotte remaining fourth, behind brother George.

Excitement had today reached fever pitch when Kate's stylist was seen leaving the Lindo Wing - sparking speculation that she may have already prepared the royal for the reveal of the fifth-in-line to the throne.
Many royal fans have been camped outside the hospital for weeks, eager to get the first glimpse of the little boy - Kate and William's second son.
Messages of congratulations to the young family have already started to flow in - with Prime Minister Theresa May tweeting: "My warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy. I wish them great happiness for the future."
Other messages of support even came from the Royal Navy, proudly spelling out BOY! on board the HMS Albion.

Kensington Palace this morning sparked a flurry of excitement when it was announced that Kate had been admitted to hospital before 6am today.
In the tweet, the palace confirmed: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London earlier this morning in the early stages of labour.
The 36-year-old's two previous births have been fairly quick affairs - Kate had George less than 11 hours after arriving at hospital on July 22, 2013.
Charlotte was born just two hours and 34 minutes after mum Kate as admitted on May 2, 2015.

Kensington Palace had confirmed that the new royal baby was on the way on September 4, 2017 - with bookies quick to take punts at what royal baby number three will be named.
The new arrival will be given an extremely formal title either way - he will be known as His Royal Highness Prince (Name) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
And while Prince William is by his wife's side, George and Charlotte are likely to be cared for by their full-time, live-in nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
Royal fanatics have been celebrating outside the Lindo wing, excited for the first peek at the couple's third baby.
John Loughrey, 63, who is part of a group who have been camped outside the hospital, said: "We are so pleased. We have been here for 15 days.
"I'm so pleased it's St George's Day. St George himself would be very pleased if the baby's born today."
