According to , the 19-year-old has said she thinks the bickering will die down, and hopes "these wounds are healed".

She said: “It’s in Meghan’s nature to be a good person and she won’t want any bad feelings. I think she is doing the best she can in the public eye.

“I’ve always really looked up to her, like a big sister I never had. She’s kind, genuine, very thoughtful and warm.”

Noel has not spoken to her mother Samantha - Meghan's half sister - for four years, and hit out at her mum saying she's "got to stop what she's doing."

Samantha Grant has been outspoken over half sister Meghan's engagement to Prince Harry since it was announced in November last year.

Previously, Samantha has called the Suits' star a "social climber" and even blasted her on Twitter this month saying: "Out of respect and humanitarianism, the Markles should be invited if 2,000 complete strangers are.

"Our uncle, brother, me, best friend of 30 years, nephews. Our issue is not a matter of closeness. Family is family."

Daughter Noel said she believes Samantha enjoys the "attention being Meghan's sister gives her" as she likes the "spotlight" and is "probably hurt that she didn’t get an invite to the wedding".

She added that it's the older members of the Markle family who have been causing problems.

She said: "There’s a select few in the family – like me and my young cousins Thomas III and TJ – who haven’t asked for anything.

"It’s the older ones who have been causing the war of words which is ripping the family apart.

"It seems like they’re the ones expecting handouts and favours. But why should Meghan do that? It’s not fair to her.”
