CHANNEL 4's new three part show True Horror kicks off with a terrifying tale of a real-life haunted house.
The first episode is titled Hellfire Farm, which will air on April 19, let's look at the events on which it is based.
Where is Brecon Beacons Hellfire Farm?
Hellfire Farm is located somewhere in the Brecon Beacons national park in South Wales.
The episode centres around a family who move into an idyllic farm house.
They are then terrorised by supposedly supernatural events.
From the producers of the Bafta-nominated The Enfield Haunting, the show uses real-life interviews with those involved along with dramatised version of their accounts.
Who are Bill and Liz?
Liz and her partner - artist Bill - move to an idyllic farmhouse in the Welsh hills, where life is good.
They soon have two children and collect a menagerie of animals.
What happened to the family?
Artist Bill and his wife Liz and their young children claim they encountered demonic activity in their idyllic Welsh farmhouse.
Shortly after moving in, they insist objects started moving around the home inexplicably while their animals start to die.
Bill’s artwork stopped selling and the family became mired in financial trouble when they were hit with astronomical electricity bills, which they could not explain.
Artist dad Bill then became more reclusive while working on his paintings, became darker and darker.
Mum Liz enlisted the help of a local priest while the area also has a history of witchcraft.
