CHINA has paraded a new nuclear missile which could be capable of hitting a US territory and sinking aircraft carriers.
The 'Guam Killer' warheads are capable of travelling 2,000 miles - far enough to blitz Guam in the Pacific Ocean.
More than 162,000 who live there will now be in fear of the new doomsday weapons.
Reports claim the DF-26 can travel at supersonic speeds - although the Chinese government has not confirmed the model.
The missile was designed and built by Chinese engineers and commissioned to the People's Liberation Army's Rocket Force, according to national media .
The news outlet reported: "The weapons system of the missile brigades built by the reorganisation system and equipment is a new generation of medium and long-range ballistic missiles developed by China and with complete independent intellectual property rights.
"It is a new type of weapon in the strategic deterrent and strike force system of our military and is a 'killer' for combat troops.
"The backbone of weapons."
A video on the Chinese website says the country does not plan to use the missiles "unless provoked".
It claims there are 2,500 DF-26 medium range missiles.
There also unconfirmed rumours of a number of mega-powered DF-41 rockets, which have a range of more than 9,000 miles and could easily hit the US or UK.
Earlier this year we revealed China has secretly been testing new weapons which can strike enemies with millimetre-level precision.
The nation recently unveiled its largest rise in defence spending in three years as it bids to dominate the world with a vast superpower military.
