SMALLVILLE actress Allison Mack is now in charge of Keith Raniere’s rape cult, the group’s former publicist has claimed.
The 35-year-old actress who played one of Clark Kent’s best friends in the Superman TV spin-off series had been the second-in-command in the cult, responsible for recruiting women into the organisation.
Frank Parlato, the group's former spokesman, told : “She is the one person still doing her best to hold the group together.
“She is still virulently working while most of the rest have just given up following Raniere's arrest.
“Allison is so deluded that she thinks that she can keep things going.”
Raniere, 57, is due to appear in court in Brooklyn, New York today on sex trafficking charges.
Parlato added that only a small band of devoted followers now remains, , including Battlestar Gallactica actress Nicki Clyne - who has reportedly married Mack - and Dynasty star Catherine Oxenberg's daughter India.
Mack is also likely to face criminal charges and has been accused of recruiting girls to the cult to engaged in sex with Raniere.
Raniere faces a minimum of 15 years in jail if he is convicted.
Court documents have also revealed Raniere is said to have had sex with a 12-year-old girl after one member hired her as a dogwalker so he could get close to her.
It is also claimed he told another of his sex slaves that the age of consent was too rigid and should be lowered to “when a child's parent says the child is capable of consent”.
US Attorney Richard Donoghue also claimed Raniere regularly had sex wit ha 15-year-old girl when he was in his 20s.
Donoghue also says he had “more than 50 DOS slaves under him.”
Other allegations include Raniere physically assaulting at least two of his sex partners “and in 2012, under the guise of mentorship, he encouraged a woman to run headfirst into a tree and to drink from a puddle.”
Writing in a blog post on his personal website, he claimed that Mack even started branding her initials on other women.
He wrote: "Mack, the second in command of DOS – which stands for Dominus Obsequious Sororium (translating to 'the slave women under the master') – reportedly has Raniere’s initials branded on her pubic region.
"And she has her own initials, along with Raniere’s, branded on dozens of other women.
"She used her celebrity status to persuade women into sending Raniere graphic nude pictures and confessions to use as blackmail and used her own home to have them branded with a hot iron by physician Dr Danielle Roberts, one of the slave women of Mack and Raniere.
"Allison Mack may be mentally ill. She may be a victim. She may be a brutal creature.
"Either way Raniere preyed on her and brought the worst out of her.
"Whether she remains loyal to him or turns and gives evidence against him remains to be seen.
"In any event, Allison Mack as she exists today is a human tragedy."
Sun Online has led the way in uncovering claims about the group and its supposed members, including:
- That Mack allegedly recruited up to 25 women into the terrifying cult
- Dynasty actress Catherine Oxenberg said NXIVM had "brainwashed" her daughter India
- Battlestar Galactica’s Nicki Clyne was said to be a member
- Mack could face arrest on sex trafficking allegations after supposed leader Keith Rainere was detained last week week
"Brainwashed" actress Mack was seen in video leaked to Sun Online showing the moment after Raniere was arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking.
She is heard asking "what's going on?" as cops hold Rainere inside a police car.
Other women - believed to be fellow actress Nicki Clyne and high profile followers Lauren Salzman and Loreta Garza - can be heard saying frantically: “We’re going to follow them… let’s go you guys.”
Sources told Art Voice that Mack could now face sex trafficking charges.
Arrest documents state that Raniere was living with “several women” when he was arrested over allegations of sex trafficking at a luxury villa near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
These women chased after Raniere in their own car "at high speed" as he was driven away by cops, police add.
Raniere is currently in federal custody charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit forced labour.
