London stabbings continue as woman arrested after man knifed to death on Isle of Dogs
LONDON'S wave of violence continues as a woman was arrested after a man was stabbed to death this morning.
Police were called to a flat on the Isle of Dogs just before 8.30am.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers attended with LAS and London’s Air Ambulance.
"A male aged in his 30s was found suffering from a stab injury.
"Despite the efforts of paramedics he died at the scene.
"A female aged in her 20s has been arrested and taken to an East London police station. A crime scene is in place."
It comes as more than 50 murder probes have been launched in London since the beginning of the year.
Police said no one else was being sought in connection with the death.
The couple are thought to have known each other.
The murder happened hours after police gangbusters delivered a crushing blow to one of London’s most notorious mobs early today days after a wave of murders swept through the city.
At least 35 people have been fatally stabbed in London since the beginning of the year.

Met Police records show 37, 443 recorded knife offences and 6,694 recorded gun offences across the UK in the year up to September 2017.
In London, the problem was even more pronounced than the rest of the country, with 12,980 knife crimes taking place in the capital - 2,452 more than the equivalent year.
