A MISCHIEVOUS lad, who discovered an entire book of Yodel blank missed delivery slips on his door matt, has become a web hero after devising an epic prank with them.

The stunt saw the joker target friends and neighbours by filling in the forms himself.

He asked users of a Reddit community for suggestions of what to write before following their instructions.

One suggested: “Fill them in, randomly, telling the recipients their parcel has been left at number 12, 11, 64, 126, 98, the sorting office and requires a signature. Sit off, laugh.”

Another wrote: “If you really wanna be evil, go around on garbage day and drop these off with "left in a space place: garbage bin."

The joker then posted a photo showing four slips he had written along with the words: "Let the games begin".

One claimed that six parcels were waiting at five different addresses on one street.

Another said that the parcel was on the roof, while another explained it had been left at the “nearest Greggs.”

Another note explained the reason for not delivering the parcel as “couldn’t be arsed”.

The gags prompted widespread acclaim on the discussion site.

Comments ranged from: “You absolute legend” to “Total madman!”.

Another user wrote: “I’m enjoying this epic tale. I feel poets will recite this saga of opportunity, imagination, strategic execution, and the wondrous captivation of its spectators, in years to come.”

“This whole thing has genuinely made my week”, said another user of the site while one other wrote: “I'm sure there's a special place in hell for you but this is some entertaining stuff. Keep going!”

The prankster even posted a video showing him post one of the slips through a door.

He explained: “As suggested, some are going to neighbours and some are going to mates and co-workers so I have some better odds of getting a reaction.

“Posting slips through letter boxes is harder than it looks, by the way.”
