Jeremy Corbyn’s brother shares vile conspiracy theories claiming Syria chemical attack is a hoax and part of ‘narrative’ to make Jeremy look anti-war before elections

JEREMY Corbyn's brother has said the atrocious chemical attack in Syria last weekend was fake.
Piers Corbyn, a weather and climate forecaster, said that the horrific attack on rebel-held Douma was part of a Western hoax to lure them into war with Syria, and make his brother Jez look bad.
He tweeted: "HAHA the #Syria #ChemicalWeaponsAttack was #FAKE."
Jeremy's older brother also said: "Video (via Guardian of #SyriaChemicalAttack is #FAKEnews. Some actors masked, others NOT (in danger zone!) slosh water on children to cry. THAT'S IT! #FalseFlag 2 attack Assad Putin and make narrative vs Jeremy Corbyn = AntiWar local elections."
And he retweeted claims made by others which called the attack a "false flag" and that suggested previous wars were "planned" by the West.
One other post he endorsed had photographs of Bush, Clinton and Obama and the captions: "They lied about Iraq, they lied about Libya, they're lying about Syria."
He also retweeted a photograph of John McCain, supposedly meeting Isis fighters in Syria.
"Same US drama being played again," another tweet read.
Tory MP Johnny Mercer, who said earlier this week Theresa May should be prepared to blitz Assad's bases, said it was a "sickening" remark.
He told The Sun: "Given the repeated use of chemical weapons to cause horrific death and destruction in Syria, I am utterly bewildered and ashamed to think someone could say this.
"Jeremy Corbyn is in Plymouth today and I have no doubt that he will use that opportunity to set the record straight."
And Tory MP Robert Halfon said the tweet was "not just sad but an insult to the millions of Syrians who have lost their lives and been maimed and killed by chemical weapons".
He stormed: "What is it with the far left that makes some so keen to act as propagandists for Putin and Assad?"
The Labour Party have yet to comment.
Last weekend disturbing pictures emerged from Syria which showed dozens of people, many of them kids, struggling to stay alive after a suspected nerve agent attack.
At least 70 are feared dead after a deadly cocktail of chlorine and apparent sarin gas was dropped on the rebel-held town of Douma.
Patients showed signs of "respiratory distress, central cyanosis, excessive oral foaming, corneal burns, and the emission of chlorine-like odour", they said.
The statement added civil defence volunteers found 42 casualties dead in their homes "with similar clinical symptoms of excessive oral foaming, cyanosis, and corneal burns".
The footage is consistent with countless witness reports and Bashar al-Assad's history of using the most terrible weapons of war against the innocent.
The shocking pictures tell the whole tale, and Donald Trump has vowed to respond with firm action.
The Prime Minister is under pressure today to take action against Syria and join in with strikes against President Assad's regime.
RAF bombers were on standby last night to strike.
The war-torn country is already in the middle of a vicious civil war which has lasted seven years, killed hundreds of thousands and left millions displaced.
But even in the face of such overwhelming evidence, Piers Corbyn is peddling lines from Vladimir Putin’s Russia that brazenly denies that such an attack took place.
The Damascus regime has dismissed the allegations against it as a fabrication or even that it had been stitched up in a "false flag" operation by insurgents.

Russian ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia also rubbished claims the Syrian regime used chemical weapons as "fake news”.
The diplomat was of course echoing Moscow’s line from Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said there was NO evidence of an attack.
He said: "Our military specialists have visited this place... and they did not find any trace of chlorine or any other chemical substance used against civilians."
