GABBY Logan has revealed her terrifying ordeal of being on a plane that plummeted 3,000ft leaving her son fearing they were going to die.
The BBC sports presenter, 44, was on a flight to South Africa when the plane hit turbulence and suddenly plummeted downwards.

The former Welsh gymnast told : “There were smashed glasses everywhere, passengers were cut and bleeding.
“I was holding my son Reuben’s hand and Kenny was holding Lois’s.
“Reuben asked if we were going to die. The captain said it was the worst turbulence he’d had in 30 years.”
The mum-of-twins also revealed she is due to undergo her first operation in May after tearing a ligament while skiing, which she’s annoyed about as it will involve lots of rehab meaning she won’t be able to stick to her normal routine of working out four or five times a week.

She also revealed to the paper that often gets called ‘Gabbarooney’ as a nickname despite doing her best to give herself the nickname 'Cheesy' while still at school.
The TV presenter, who married the former Scottish rugby international Kenny Logan in 2001, also revealed she was starstruck when she met one of her all-time heroes, footballer Eric Cantona.
