A 64-year-old mum has been killed in Newport Pagnell in a horror car crash as she was out walking with her daughter and dog
A MUM has been killed by a car while she was out walking her dog with her daughter.
The collision took place in Newport Pagnell, Bucks, at around 8.05pm yesterday evening.
The 64-year-old woman died of her injuries after she was struck by a grey Vauxhall Mokka vehicle.
The woman’s daughter and dog were not injured during the collision.
Investigating officer, PC Jim Lovell of the serious collision investigation unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the collision to come forward.
“I am also appealing to anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicle or pedestrians before the collision.
The driver of the Vauxhall was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while over the alcohol limit.
He has been released under investigation.
