'HE'S DANGEROUS'

Lord Sugar says Britain needs to ‘get RID’ of Jeremy Corbyn – as Labour boss to meet fuming Jewish leaders in anti-Semitism row

JEREMY Corbyn is "dangerous" and Britain must "get rid of him", former Labour donor Lord Sugar has blasted.

The news comes as the Labour boss is set to meet with Jewish leaders to discuss anything and everything they want to raise with him, after he faced a furious backlash for attending a Passover event with a far-left group.

Speaking to ITV last night the Apprentice boss said: "This country needs to get rid of him. There is no question of it. I don't have the solution how to get rid of him.

"He is absolutely dangerous, totally totally dangerous and the [Labour] Party is powerless to try and get rid of him."

Meanwhile, the Labour leader told the Board of Deputies and the Jewish Leadership Council he would meet with them "without any preconditions" and accepted that he had to take personal responsibility for leading the fight against vile anti-Semites in the party.

In a letter sent by Mr Corbyn to Jewish leaders, he told them he recognised the "full legitimacy" of concerns about anti-Semitism, whether they were raised by MPs or party members.

He wrote: "I recommit to doing all I can to address the anguish and distress caused to many people in the Jewish community....

"My door will remain open to all Jewish organisations to discuss how to deepen our cooperation in the fight against anti-Semitism."

It comes after he faced fury from MPs and mainstream Jewish leaders for going to an event on Monday evening with a group who had described anti-Semitism allegations as a "smear" against him.

But yesterday Mr Corbyn doubled down, refusing to say sorry for going to the event by a group which also demanded the destruction of Israel.
