Jigsaw fan admits nearly getting divorced after taking two years to finish 33,600-piece puzzle

JIGSAW fan Ken Robinson nearly saw his marriage fall apart — while taking two years to complete a 33,600-piece puzzle.
Ken, 74, holed up away from wife Christine, 71, in a spare room for up to four hours a night.
But they are celebrating him finishing the £200 jungle scene which measures 18ft 8in by 5ft 1in.
Ken admitted: “I nearly got divorced because of it. I would go upstairs at 9pm and still be there at 1am.
“When I started I thought, ‘I’m going to be here a lifetime’ — so I increased the time I spent on it. It was very satisfying to put the last piece in. It felt marvellous. I went downstairs and said to the wife, ‘I’m bored now.’”
Retired trucker Ken, of Marske, North Yorks, added: “I definitely need to take her out for a posh meal now to make up for it.”
Christine said: “The good thing was I could watch what I wanted on TV.”
