A FAMILY spoke of their horror after discovering a strippergram hired for a birthday bash was black cab rapist John Worboys.
Care worker Ann O’Callaghan also revealed how pervert Worboys even stayed on for an extra hour tucking into food with his privates still on show after his x-rated performance had finished.
Ann paid around £80 for a male stripper as a cheeky surprise for her sister's 50th birthday 24 years ago.
And the birthday girl laughed in front of 40 boozy revellers as the adult entertainer blindfolded her and stripped naked inches from her face in a raunchy “Officer and a Gentleman” routine.
But years later, stunned Ann recognised the stripper as none other than serial sex fiend Worboys - and was delighted that The Sun's campaign to keep him caged triumphed today.
Ann, 66, from Hoddeston, Herts told the Sun today: “He’s an evil charmer and deserves to stay exactly where he is for a very long time.
“I saw his picture on TV after the news broke about him getting released and recognised him instantly.
“The party was 24 years ago when my sister turned 50 and I can’t believe it’s taken all this time for the penny to drop.
“I looked him up online and saw he used to do strippergrams under the name ‘Terry the Minder’ and that was the clincher because the chap who came to my house called himself Terry.
“I dug out pictures from the party and there’s no question it’s him.
“He seemed such a nice guy but it's only now I realise it was all an act and I can see how his victims fell for it.
“It’s awful to think someone like that darkened our door.”
Twisted Worboys - linked to rape of more than 100 women in the back of his cab after plying them with drugged Champagne - worked as a stripper between 1987 and 2000.
He was booked for the evening bash in front of male and female guests at Ann’s home in October 1994.
His full-frontal strip went down a storm and he was invited to stay and enjoy cocktail sausages and the hot food buffet with the family.
But revellers were left open-mouthed as he accepted their hospitality for more than an hour without putting his trousers and underpants back on after his performance.
Ann said: “He was really friendly and wasn’t too rude when he stripped for my sister but I was surprised when he didn’t put his pants back on.
“He stood there for more than an hour chatting while sampling the buffet and drinks with only his white Richard Gere tunic on and his willy on show.
“But it was a very boozy party and no one seemed to care - least of all him.”
Ann's daughter Faye, now a 43-year-old PA who was also at the family party, said: "I remember him giving it the full Richard Gere Officer and Gentleman routine.
"Everyone was screaming with laughter - he was very good at it and very well endowed.
"But it's shocking now to think we let someone so dangerous get so close to us."
Worboys’s stripping career ended before he began his black cab reign of terror which lasted until February 2008.
He was convicted at Croydon Crown Court in March 2009 of one count of rape, five sexual assaults, one attempted assault and 12 drugging charges.
A judge ordered him to serve at last eight years and he has so far been behind bars for nine.
But parole chiefs this year stunned his victims by recommending his release amid widespread outrage.
Fury erupted over the move after he convinced parole officials he was a reformed character and that “God had forgiven him” for his crimes.
The decision to release the 60-year-old predator - overturned today in the High Court - prompted Justice Secretary David Lidington to order a review of Parole Board methods.
Mr Lidington said: “John Worboys was convicted of horrific crimes.

"While it is right that the Parole Board should remain an independent body, I believe that there is a strong case to review how to allow greater openness about the decision-making process."
Two of his victims and London Mayor Sadiq Khan were allowed to launch a High Court challenge.
Philippa Kaufmann QC told Worboys, who appeared in person at the Royal Courts of Justice at an earlier hearing that the board had reached an “irrational” decision.
She added that it appeared something has gone “very wrong” and the victims were “concerned not only for themselves but for the wider public and women in particular."
