PARSONS Green Tube bomber Ahmed Hassan was referred to the ­Government’s anti-terror programme three times but its deradicalisation team failed to see him.

Hassan, 18, was never assigned a mentor despite spending 20 months on Prevent’s radar.

Instead he was given mental health and educational support.

Hassan, of Sunbury, Surrey, was on Prevent’s books when he launched his attack in September, injuring 51 people.

He faces life in jail when sentenced today.

The National Counter-Terrorism Policing Network is reviewing what actions were taken.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd will face questions from the Home Affairs Select Committee next week over the case.
