Woman raped by John Worboys slams decision to not prosecute him over attack

A VICTIM of taxi rapist John Worboys has slammed the decision not to prosecute him for attacking her.

The Crown Prosecution Service refused to review the case despite a civil court ruling that Worboys raped the woman in 2003.

She asked the CPS to look again at her case earlier this year after Worboys, 60, was set to be freed from jail.

The woman told the Daily Telegraph: “The CPS are adamant. They’re sticking to their guns and will not look at any old cases.

“It is absolutely shocking. The victims count for nothing. It’s disgusting. He’s got away with raping me.”

Worboys admitted drugging and abusing 12 women in his cab but cops believe there were 105 victims in a six-year spree.

The High Court is set to decide whether to allow a parole board decision to free him after nine years of his indeterminate sentence.

The woman said new evidence proved she had been drugged, despite cops saying no trace was found.

She declared: “We are all convinced that he will come out and reoffend. No woman is safe.”
